All our suppliers are chosen based on the quality of their products. Most have supplied us for several years. We ensure all our suppliers have a minimum quality registration to ISO9001:2008. We monitor this in house by further quality checking on receipt of goods.
Eastern Seals have achieved various customer approvals based on the high quality of the products we supply.
O-Rings were our initial focus and remain our key product. However, we have expanded and diversified into many other product ranges. A few are listed below:
Back Up Rings are also known as anti extrusion rings. They have been used for many years in conjunction with O-Rings in high pressure applications. A Back Up Ring is a rigid ring that holds an elastomeric seal to its designed shape and in its correct place. O-Rings are one of the most commonly used products in sealing applications. They are relatively inexpensive and reliable. Eastern Seals currently hold stock of more than 80 million rings across 10,000 individual sizes. FEP Encapsulated O-Rings
An encapsulated O-Ring is an an elastomer core that has been seamlessly encapsulated in a jacket of Teflon® fluroropolymer. It’s core is made of either Viton® (FKM), Silicone (VMQ) or EPDM. The jacket is made of FEP or PFA. Encapsulated O-Rings are recommended when a standard O-Ring has inadequate chemical resistance for an application. Bonded Seals are also known as Dowty Seals or Dowty Bonded Washers. They are high pressure seals used in the Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic sectors.
