HNBR O-Rings
HNBR O-Rings (Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber seals)
HNBR o-rings are produced from the hydrogenation of Nitrile, resulting in varying degrees of saturation of the polymeric chain, along with a range of enhanced physical strength and chemical resistance properties.
HNBR O-Rings, also known as Highly Saturated Nitrile (HSN), is a synthetic polymer produced from the hydrogenation of Nitrile, resulting in varying degrees of saturation of the polymeric chain, along with a range of enhanced physical strength and chemical resistance properties.
Key Uses
HNBR o-rings are ideal for all oil resistant applications, including exposure to such oil additives as detergents, anti-oxidants and anti-wear agents.
• Exposure to oil soured with metal sludge.
• Seals for oil well applications.
• Seals for automotive fuel handling systems.
• Seals for general industrial usage.
Eastern Seals can supply a range of HNBR seal materials that have passed the NORSOK M-710 requirements. These are listed on our NORSOK Approved Compounds page. Please contact us for details.
Please note: All HNBR material supplied by Eastern Seals is peroxide cured.
