Bronze-filled PTFE bearing strip – offers a highly durable, efficient, and easy-to-install bearing solution for lubricated and non-lubricated applications involving reciprocating, oscillating, or slow rotational movement. Recommended for light-duty applications, particularly in smaller diameters where the strip’s flexibility simplifies groove installation.
Its low-friction PTFE composition helps minimise stick-slip between moving components. The material is compatible with hydraulic mineral oils, lubricating oils, water-based and synthetic fire-resistant fluids, as well as lubricating greases. It also provides excellent heat resistance and high creep resistance. While the material itself is rated for temperatures up to 200°C, the recommended maximum operating temperature for bearing applications is 60°C.
