Eastern Seals (UK) Ltd. acquires UK Seals & Polymers Limited.

Eastern Seals (UK) Ltd. today announced that they have acquired UK Seals & Polymers Limited, one of the country’s leading distributors of hydraulic and pneumatic sealing solutions.

Eastern Seals (UK) Ltd. has rapidly grown into one of the UK’s leading suppliers of O-rings and sealing solutions – the company is the largest seal supplier in the North of the UK. Since the company commenced trading in 2007, Eastern Seals’ customer base has continued to grow, resulting in demand for more stock to be held. The company has achieved many customer approvals and referrals based on the high quality of the products and the service they supply.

When founder of UK Seals & Polymers Alan Glasson, who has worked in the industry for many years decided to retire and sell the company, Eastern Seals quickly realised that this would be a perfect opportunity to expand its activities into a part of the sealing industry that had they had not yet fully developed.

The buyout is expected to pave the way for further growth and development for Eastern Seals and its management team, led by Managing Director, Diane Reach. This includes expansion into new markets, further investment in product ranges, international reach and potential future acquisitions.

Founded in 2002, UK Seals & Polymers has earned a reputation for excellent customer service, covering a wide range of products. By offering custom made solutions the company has successfully continued to grow, in what has often been a challenging market. UK Seals & Polymers supply many different profiles; from 10mm to 3000mm as endless seals, and up to 4500mm as split seals as standard. Bespoke customer requirements have long been a major part of their business to date, UK Seals & Polymers are now considered a leading supplier of Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Rotary Seals.

Whilst UK Seals & Polymers will continue to trade under its existing structure, the combined strength of both Companies will allow each facility to further develop sales, product ranges and customer service. Ian Whitelock will remain with the company as a Director to ensure continuity and normal day to day business will be unaffected.
